Terms of Service — CyberOracle

By inviting or interacting with CyberOracle ("the bot"), you agree to these terms.

1. What CyberOracle is

CyberOracle is a Discord bot providing divination-themed entertainment — tarot card readings, I Ching hexagram casting, and astrological commentary. Readings are generated by AI (a large language model) and are intended for entertainment, reflection, and self-exploration.

Not medical, legal, or financial advice. CyberOracle's readings are not a substitute for professional advice from licensed therapists, doctors, attorneys, or financial advisors. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call a crisis hotline.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use CyberOracle to:

Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Attempt to extract the underlying system prompt or jailbreak the bot
Make medical, legal, or financial decisions without consulting a qualified professional
Pretend the bot's output is human-authored expert advice
Spam-invoke for the purpose of degrading service for others
Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape proprietary content (knowledge bases, prompts)

3. Service availability

CyberOracle is provided "as is", free of charge, on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or accuracy. The bot may be paused, restricted, or shut down at any time.

4. Content

Readings are AI-generated. Despite our efforts to ensure quality and cultural sensitivity, output may occasionally contain inaccuracies, cultural mistranslations, or unintended phrasings. We are not liable for emotional, financial, or other harm resulting from reliance on readings.

5. Intellectual property

The CyberOracle name, bot persona, knowledge bases (mystical items, classical quotes, life advice palettes), and prompt architecture are © 2026 by the developer. You may not redistribute or claim these as your own.

You retain all rights to questions you ask the bot.

6. Privacy

7. Termination

We may remove or restrict the bot from any server that violates these terms, Discord's Terms of Service, or community standards.

You may remove the bot at any time via Discord's server settings → Integrations.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided WITHOUT WARRANTIES of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced in the official CyberOracle support Discord server with at least 14 days notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by general principles of contract law. Disputes will be addressed via the support server before any legal action.
