Privacy Policy — CyberOracle

CyberOracle ("the bot", "we") is a Discord application that provides tarot, I Ching, and astrological readings. We take your privacy seriously and collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service.

What we collect

Discord User ID — a numeric identifier (not your username or email)
Your most recent question — stored to support follow-up readings and context continuity
Birthday / zodiac sign — if you provide it, used to compute astrological correspondences
Aggregate token usage counters — total reading counts, no per-message logging
Last 2 reading hooks — to detect follow-up questions ("what does that mean?")

What we do NOT collect

Your full Discord message history
Your email, IP address, or device identifiers
Real-time location or DM contents from servers we are not in
Any data from channels CyberOracle is not explicitly invoked in

How we use the data

Solely to generate your readings. We do not sell, share, or rent any user data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Third-party processing

To generate readings, your question text is sent to our LLM provider (DeepSeek) over an encrypted connection. The provider does not retain prompts beyond the API response cycle, per their privacy policy. We send only the question text — no Discord user IDs are forwarded.

Data retention

Your last question and zodiac sign are retained as long as you keep CyberOracle in your server / installed. If CyberOracle is removed (server kick or app uninstall), your stored data is deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by joining the support server and DMing the developer with your Discord User ID, or by emailing the contact below. We will delete within 7 days.

Children

CyberOracle is intended for users 13+ in line with Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be announced in the official CyberOracle support Discord server with at least 14 days notice.
